Simulated data for the manuscript "Ensembles in Urban Large Eddy Simulations with Changing Wind Direction" By Keskinen and Hellsten

Description

Output data from the simulations described in the manuscript "Ensembles in Urban Large Eddy Simulations with Changing Wind Direction" (accepted for publication in Boundary-Layer Meteorology). Time series, averaged 3D fields, and instantaneous 3D fields for both the staggered cube array and the realistic urban environment are provided. All data are simulated using PALM.

Different data is provided through different files, all downloadable using the given links. All data is provided as netCDF files compressed using tar and xz. Two cases are available: 1) staggered cube array, indicated by "RESPONSE-kuutiot/240/" in the file url. 2) realistic urban environment, indicated by "RESPONSE-v2/240K/" in the file url. For both cases, files with different content is available using the following naming convention: 1) Time series data for all ensemble members, file name: "DATA_1D_TS_All.tar.xz". 2) Ensemble member are indicated with "/RUN[1-50]/" in the link url where [1-50] indicates the number of the ensemble member. 3) Instantaneous 3D data, indicated by "DATA_3D_NETCDF" in the file name. 4) Time-averaged 3D data, indicated by "DATA_3D_AV_NETCDF" in the file name. 5) For the case of realistic urban environment data, "_N03" indicates that data is from the innermost domain.
