Description

Datasets associated with Jääskeläinen et al. manuscript titled: "High-resolution soil moisture mapping in northern boreal forests using SMAP data and downscaling techniques". The dataset includes training, test, and validation sets for machine learning model development. Additionally, there are also predicted soil moisture maps in 1 km and 250 m spatial resolutions for Northern Finland covering the years 2019-2023 (from May 1 to October 15).
