Description
This dataset accompanies the manuscript by Ingram et al., titled "Towards Understanding Apoplastic Freezing Under Negative Pressure". It includes immersion freezing data from ten xylem sap samples collected from Pinus sylvestris branches under varying water potentials. Ice nucleation activity is reported as both frozen fractions and as ice nucleation active site density per milliliter of sample volume. For the background medium used in dilutions (Milli-Q water), only frozen fractions are provided.
