Description
Python codes for the manuscript Taneja et al., 2026, Satellite-based constraints on temperature-dependent aerosol–cloud feedback over a clean boreal forest and a rural continental site. The analysis is based on the following public data sets:
Field data on particle size distributions from Hyytiää are available at https://smear.avaa.csc.fi/download. ECMWF-ERA5
data are available at the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) Climate Data Store https://www.ecmwf.int/en/forecasts/datasets/reanalysis-
datasets/era5 (Hersbach et al., 2023). The Aerosol, Clouds and Trace Gases Research Infrastructure (ACTRIS) provided the CLU (2023)
dataset in this study (CLU, 2023). CLU data was produced by the Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI) and is available for download from
https://cloudnet.fmi.fi/. The aerosol data for Southern Great Plains were obtained from the Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM)
User Facility, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science user facility managed by the Biological and Environmental Research
Program. MODIS Level-2 cloud products were obtained from the NASA Level-1 and Atmosphere Archive and Distribution System Dis-
tributed Active Archive Center (LAADS DAAC), and OMI tropospheric (NO2) data were obtained from the NASA Goddard Earth Sciences
Data and Information Services Center (GES DISC).
