The zip file "codes_and_scripts.zip" includes computer programs and scripts used
in producing the results discussed in the manuscript Räisänen et al. (2024).

Four directories are included:

fortran
GrADS
R
figures

1. fortran
------------

This directory contains a total of 19 fortran programs and 23 auxiliary files
used by them. These programs are used to compute and further process snow
season metrics based on CMIP6 and ERA5-Land data. See the README file for
this directory for more details.

2. GrADS
----------

This directory contains the GrADS (http://cola.gmu.edu/grads/) scripts used
to produce Figures 1 and 5-11 in the main paper and Figures S1-S14 in the
Supporting information.

3. R
------

This directory contains the R (https://www.r-project.org/) scripts used to
produce Figures 2-4 in the main paper, along with some data files used by
these scripts.

-----------

This directory contains  the 22 figures produced using the GrADS scripts (in
.png format) and the 3 figures produced using the R scripts (in .jpeg format).
